Macra gives K250 000 to Friends of Limbani

Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (Macra) has donated K250 000 (US$607) towards Friends of Limbani Charity Golf Tournament scheduled for September 19 at Blanyre Sports Club. This is an initiative aimed at raising money for veteran journalist Limbani Moya’s medical treatment in India. Moya was diagnosed with kidney failure and he needs a transplant. The medical bill is about K15 million (US$36 408). “At times like these, we need to help each other and any little that individuals or institutions can donate will go a long way to save a life.
